Mobile App for a Beverage Retail Chain
About the project
The retailer's old app had become outdated and started holding the business back: support was getting more expensive, development was slow, and some features were already unstable. What was needed wasn't a cosmetic redesign but a new mobile platform.
We rewrote the app from scratch, migrated the customer base, and turned it into a tool not just for sales but also for retaining the audience.
Metrics and impact
Key figures and facts that help quickly grasp the scale of business value after the project launch.
Loyalty, push notifications, and game mechanics brought customers back to the stores more often.
We rewrote the app from scratch and cleared the technical debt that was eating into the development budget.
Segments, promotions, and promo codes can now be launched quickly and measured by sales.
Technical highlights
We built the app on a new architecture to clear technical debt and speed up further development. The loyalty card is integrated with Apple Wallet, and push notifications help bring customers back and deliver personalized offers.
We put special emphasis on engagement and analytics: we added a collectible-card mechanic with prizes and a full admin panel for promotions, promo codes, segments, and campaigns. The business can see which locations and which customers are growing, and where there's a dip and untapped revenue potential.
