Studio App with a Smart Waiting List
A booking app for a Pilates and yoga studio: class packs, schedule, waiting list and a push the moment a spot opens — plus a website that books.
About the project
Form Lune is a small studio: eight reformers, a warm mat room and classes that fill up. Its real problem is not marketing, it is the empty spot: someone cancels Reformer Flow at 4 pm, the 6 pm class is "full" for everyone who wanted it, and the studio loses the booking anyway.
We set out to build the app a member would actually keep on the phone: see what is left on the pack, book in two taps, join a waiting list that works without a phone call, and buy or cancel a pass without asking the front desk.
What we built
The home screen answers the first question — "how many classes do I have left?" — and shows the next booked class. The schedule is a day strip with the teacher, the room and how many spots remain; a full class offers the waiting list with the member's position in the queue.
When a spot opens, the app sends a push with a fifteen-minute timer to confirm, then moves to the next person if the first one does not. Passes are bought and cancelled inside the app, with the refund rule stated before the tap. The two web screens give the studio a landing that explains the three formats and a schedule visitors can book from before they install anything.
What the product does
Five mobile screens: home with the remaining classes, schedule, class with the waiting list, the "spot opened" push with a timer, and passes.
The waiting list confirms in the app: a push, fifteen minutes to accept, then the next member.
Passes are bought, tracked and cancelled without the front desk.
Two web screens — a landing and a bookable schedule — bring new members in before the app is installed.
