Ansa Dispatch: AI Front Desk
Ansa Dispatch is a concept we designed: an AI front desk for a home services company. It answers customer conversations, books jobs and hands tricky questions to a person with full context.
A fictional product exploration showing interface and interaction design. No live deployment or commercial results are implied.

Who Ansa Dispatch is for
A home services company, plumbing and air conditioning in the example, whose customers write in to book a visit.
- The owner or the office, who see every conversation that needs a person.
- Customers who write in the website chat and want a visit booked.
Every conversation answered, the hard ones by a person
Some questions are routine: book a visit, ask the price of a diagnostic. Others are not: a payment plan, a complaint about yesterday’s visit, a job the company may not do. The front desk answers the first kind and hands the second to a person without losing the thread.
What the Ansa Dispatch concept shows
Needs a person
A queue of conversations the assistant handed off, tagged: pricing question, complaint, out of playbook.
The whole conversation
The person stepping in reads what the assistant, Mia, already said and booked.
Why it was handed off
A note names the rule that sent it to a person, with a button to add the answer to the playbook.
Already collected
Job, issue, address, time window, quote and the customer’s mood, next to the customer card.
Suggested reply
A draft from the company’s pricing notes, to send as the owner, edit, or take over the chat.
How a conversation moves
Mia answers
The assistant replies in the website chat and books the visit.
A rule says stop
A question the playbook does not cover, such as a payment plan, goes to a person.
A person steps in
Mia pauses. The owner sees the reason, the details and a suggested reply.
Reply and add
Send, edit or take over, then add the answer to the playbook.
How we designed the Ansa Dispatch concept
The concept is one screen: the inbox of conversations that need a person. We designed it around the hand-off, the moment the assistant stops and a person takes over.
Start from the hand-off
The main view is not every chat but the ones waiting for a person, with how long the oldest has waited.
Context on one screen
Conversation, reason, collected details and customer side by side, so the reply starts from what Mia knows.
A playbook that grows
Each answer a person gives can be added to the playbook.
