Telegram Bot for an Equipment Rental Service
About the project
At the rental company, equipment rental ran on phone calls, Excel, and manual payment tracking. While there were only a few customers, the approach worked, but as it grew it started eating up managers' time and increasing the risk of errors.
We moved the entire renter journey into a Telegram bot: from the first application to payment and overdue tracking.
Metrics and impact
Key figures and facts that help quickly grasp the scale of business value after the project launch.
The customer completes registration, uploads documents, and gets the next step right in Telegram.
The renter's record is populated from actions in the bot, so the manager doesn't enter data by hand.
The bot reminds customers to pay and immediately raises an alert when a payment becomes a problem.
Technical highlights
In the bot, the customer goes through the whole flow: registration, choosing equipment, uploading documents, and sending data to the CRM. The manager receives a ready-made record and steps in only where they're truly needed.
After approval, the bot manages the payment schedule, sends payment reminders, and immediately flags overdue payments. Thanks to roles and shared backend logic, the solution scales easily and can be extended to other channels.
Results
The entire renter journey moved to self-service, with no phone calls or manual forms.
1The CRM began filling in automatically, and managers were freed from the routine of transferring data.
2Overdue payments became visible right away, which reduced financial risk and sped up the team's response.
